I have a signed photograph on my study wall from Bert, at the precise moment he broke his neck. Although it was 3 years before I was born, it remains a true inspiration. I once played 40 minutes of rugby with what turned out to be a broken arm. I eventually left the field, Bert didn't - what else can you say, what a man!!!
